CCY Architects
Serious design—approachable people. We partnered with CCY Architects starting in 2017 and reworked their website from top to bottom. Our goal was to leverage the website as a tool, rather than just a front for their business.
For design, we began with an extensive wireframe exercise to see where we could cut older content to focus on new work, team members, and a peek into the famous CCY charette process.
For development, we utilized Craft CMS for a modern approach to how CCY operates the website. It's a fantastic platform that allows CCY to use the website as a tool—presenting work on the fly and showcasing their best talents to attract new business that aligns with their mission.
Like any project, we focused a ton of time on the mobile displays. 59% of their traffic before the update was from a phone, and it's now at almost 70%.
CCY provided tons of great graphics to work with, so we placed in-process sketches wherever we could.
They also have a fantastic archive of images that we made sure were front and center to help tell their story.
The final product is something that has performed well so far and we're very proud of and it.
